Anna Nicole Smith will be buried in the Bahamas next to her son Daniel.

Richard Milstein, the court-appointed guardian of Dannielynn Smith, announced the burial plans this week.

Remarkably, we haven't heard much about Mr. Milstein during the media storm that surrounds Anna Nicole Smith. Here is what I found in a press release by his lawfirm, Akerman Senterfitt :

Akerman Senterfitt shareholder Richard C. Milstein has been appointed guardian ad litem to Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, the five-month-old baby of the late Vickie Lynn Marshall, a.k.a. Anna Nicole Smith. Mr. Milstein was appointed by Judge Larry Seidlin of the Broward County Circuit Court. The appointment was made to provide a voice for the deceased's surviving child and to act in the best interest of the child in relevant court proceedings.

Mr. Milstein has been practicing law for more than 30 years and has handled numerous complex and high profile guardianship and probate matters. His practice focuses on Trusts, Estates, Guardianship Litigation and Administration, Family and Marital Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, as well as Alternative Family Planning, Children's Rights, Elder Law, Probate Law and Same Sex Couple Planning. In his work in family law, he has represented clients of significant means as well as children in disputed relationships, and has performed thousands of hours of pro bono work.

Is Virgie Arthur on the Splash News dole?

Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, just told the court that her recent trip from Houston to the Bahamas was paid for by a "third party".

She traveled with her sister-in-law Elaine Tabor and someone she called "a close friend" of the family, David Leigh. David Leigh has been identified as a journalist with Splash News.

So do you think Splash News is the mysterious "third party"?????

Howard K. Stern in the poor house

Britney Spears checked into — and promptly out of — a rehab facility, reports People.com. She's been acting a bit odd lately, and her close friends asked her to get help.

The rehad centre is Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua.

Sounds like some celebrity magazines aren't so sure that the speedy rehad really happened. Access Hollywood claims to have confirmation that Spears was never in rehab.

Who knows. Hopefully Britney pulls it together and starts to perform again.

A Florida judge has ruled against releasing Anna Nicole Smith's body - in the hope that DNA testing will assist in the paternity dispute over her 5-month old daughter.  Three guys are all claiming to be the baby’s father.  Of course, the baby – Dannielynn – is worth quite a few million bucks thanks to J. Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are expecting their first child

NAOMI WATTS and LIEV SCHREIBER are expecting their first child together,

according to media reports in the US.

 

The Australian actress, 38, and Schreiber, 39, have been dating for nearly

two years and she is reportedly just entering her second trimester.

 

A source tells American publication In Touch, "This wasn't planned, but Naomi

and Liev are thrilled."

Titanic actress Kate Winslet is a tad upset with the Brit gossip rag, Grazia.  Seems that Grazia suggested Kate was visiting a “diet doctor” to lose some weight.  No no says Kate.  Her response: "I'm very upset. It's categorically untrue, it's a complete lie." Kate doesn’t want her impressionable fans to get the wrong idea.

 

Winslet has been an outspoken critic of Hollywood’s tendency to glamorize and promote ultra-thin models and actresses.  She has said; "What I resent is that there is an image of perfection that is getting thinner and thinner.  It's so damaging... and it frightens the life out of me."

Sarah Evans is finalizing her divorce papers

Country music star SARA EVANS and estranged husband CRAIG SCHELSKE have settled issues regarding their divorce and are awaiting a judge's signature to make the split official.

 

Evans, 36, initially filed for divorce in October (06), charging Schelske, 43, with adultery and pornography use - allegations he has denied.

 

The singer was forced to quit reality TV competition DANCING WITH THE STARS to focus on her personal life.

 

The couple, who were married for 13 years, will divide parenting responsibilities for their three children, AVERY, seven, OLIVIA, four, and ELIZABETH, two.

 

According to legal papers obtained by EXTRA, "The Mother and Father will behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced. They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent.

 

"They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families."

 

The children will primarily reside with Evans.

Djimon Hounsou plays a Mende fisherman in Blood Diamond, the movie about conflict diamonds in Sierra Leone. Djimon says that Blood Diamond is the "roughest" film he's ever made - but he was great in the movie. If you haven't seen it, get it onto your Netflix queue because it'll be in the rental market soon.
